We are one of Calvary Chapels Japan located in downtown Tokyo area.
The pastor Kiyomasa Akashi graduated from School of Ministry at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa and moved back to Japan in 1997 with his wife Taeko, to start Bible teaching ministry called “Logos Ministries”. They also helped newly started Calvary Chapel Tokorozawa 2003-2005. In 2005, the couple went to a third country for another mission work. CC Costa Mesa has been supporting them as missionaries through the years and now.
Right after they moved back to Japan Dec. 2010, several people came to know the Lord and they didn’t have any church to go. So the church was born and Calvary Chapel Logos Tokyo (then Logos Christian Felllowship) started worship service in Feb. 2011.
We are Japanese speaking fellowship but if you would like to join worship service, we will provide simultaneous translation. Please let us know in advance so we can prepare (E-mail). And if you have any Japanese friend who you would like to reach out for the gospel, please let us know. We would like our best to help you with prayer, evangelism in Japanese, and other efforts.
